PRESENTATION

The 12th Latin American Congress on Viticulture and Enology will be held in Montevideo (Uruguay) from 11 to 13 November, 2009. The event will take place at the Conference Room of the Radisson Montevideo Victoria Plaza Hotel.

The First Latin American Days on Viticulture and Enology that took place in Uruguay in 1986 set the basis for the Latin American Congress. This is the fourth time that the Uruguayan Association of Enologists assumes the responsibility of organizing the Latin American Congress on Viticulture and Enology, and as in previous editions, its work is focused on the most important subjects relevant to world viticulture.

National and international renowned specialists will take part in the Congress, for which three permanent technical committees are working on. Professionals with solid experience in the country make up these committees, and they will also be in charge of selecting the works and calling for their presentation.
